Prior to the United States entering WW II, many Americans traveled north to Canada to join their military to fight for freedom. During this time, thirteen Virginians perished. This ceremony will be in partnership with the Government of Canada to unveil a plaque with these men's names which will be displayed at the Virginia War Memorial. Free and open to the public.
