This is our 5th Women With Nails and it will focus on getting the home ready for autumn and winter. Practical, how-to demonstrations will include caulking and weatherization tips; small insulation projects; home fire safety; working with power tools; getting ready to paint; measuring and installing window treatments; art framing and display tips; and much, much more. Plus we will have lots of refreshments, activities and prizes.
Stay tuned to www.cvillehabitatstore.org for updates. A full schedule of activities will be posted by October 1.
Our goal is to educate more women, both homeowners and renters, about their own home maintenance. But guys are welcome too!
As always, Women With Nails is totally free and open to the public. No need to RSVP or register. Come for 1 or all topics.
The Habitat Store supports Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville by selling new and salvaged building materials to the public at discounted prices. The Store also promotes responsible stewardship of our natural resources by diverting usable materials from the waste stream.
