Tigerlily Foundation is planning for our biggest event of the year and you’re invited to be a part of it! In less than 10 months, we will host our 4th Annual Tigerlily Foundation EmPOWER Ball, scheduled to be held on October 20, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., at the McLean Hilton, 7920 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, Virginia.
Tigerlily’s 4th Annual EmPOWER Ball is our biggest annual fundraiser, generating funds that enable us to provide education, peer support, meals, buddy bags to young women in treatment for breast cancer, financial assistance and empowerment. The funds we raise also enable us to provide travel grants to young women living with Stage 4 breast cancer, and working with a travel partner, send 10 young women living with Stage 4 breast cancer on vacation annually. Last, but not least, we also are able to advocate for young women, to ensure their voices are heard.
Tigerlily Foundation’s 4th Annual EmPOWER Ball, is going to be a night to remember. The Ball will be hosted by Andrea Roane, Weekday Morning Anchor, WUSA*9.

ABOUT TIGERLILY FOUNDATION:
Tigerlily Foundation is one of the only organizations in the nation providing full lifecycle, service-oriented assistance to young women (15-40) before, during and after breast cancer. The Tigerlily Foundation focuses solely on women between the ages of 15 and 40 and works to empower young women to be their own best advocates for their health. 11,000 young women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually, and 1,100 die of the disease. Even though they get breast cancer less often than older women, younger women tend to have more aggressive breast cancers, so education about the risk factors and early detection is key. Tigerlily Foundation exists to decrease this disparity, and with our motto of "Beauty, Strength and Transformation", we aim to change lives. We hope you support our mission.
