We invite you to help through a variety of ways…

Held at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, DC, the EmPOWER Ball will honor Fox News Correspondent, Jennifer Griffin, breast cancer survivor, for her advocacy work. We will also honor Dr. Michael Schultz, Director of the Breast Center Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center and Michelle Tull Bynum, a fearless young survivor who was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in her 30’s and worked tirelessly to help educate others. Award presenters will include Tony Perkins, News Personality, Fox 5 and Surae Chin, Reporter, WUSA*9. About Tigerlily Foundation
Tigerlily Foundation is one of the only organizations in the nation providing full lifecycle, service-oriented assistance to young women (15-40) before, during and after breast cancer. The Tigerlily Foundation focuses solely on women between the ages of 15 and 40 and works to empower young women to be their own best advocates for their health. 11,000 young women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually, and 1,100 die of the disease. Even though they get breast cancer less often than older women, younger women tend to have more aggressive breast cancers, so education about the risk factors and early detection is key. Tigerlily Foundation exists to decrease this disparity, and with our motto of "Beauty, Strength and Transformation", we aim to change lives. We hope you join us in our mission by attending, purchasing a table, sponsoring the event, or sponsoring tickets for young survivors to attend. This event is sponsored by the Gannett Foundation, Moore Cadillac and The Full Cup of Alexandria. For more information email info@tigerlilyfoundation.org or call (888) 580-6253.
