"The Original Art" is an annual exhibit based on a juried competition from the Society of Illustrators. The exhibit was created to showcase illustration from the year's best children's books. It presents a chance to appreciate the enormous range of creativity in children's books and to see the printed pages alongside the original artworks they represent.
June 5-28, 2015: The illustrations of Walt Taylor, a Norfolk resident whose work is regularly seen in the Opinion section of the Virginian-Pilot, will be displayed. PFAC is also proud to be the first venue to display Virginia Beach resident Bob Morehead's whimsical and intricate toothpick sculptures. Join us for a reception for these artists at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6.
