Two memorable evenings await you as you enjoy Shakespeare classics which have been translated into every major living language and are continually performed throughout the world. Sit back and enjoy dinner, a great performance and a fabulous night!
We first bring to you one of Shakespeare's most famous and critically acclaimed works “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” Proudly presented on Saturday July 24 at Camp Roanoke, (6498 Dry Hollow Road, Salem, VA 24153). On Saturday August 21 “The Winter’s Tale” will be presented at Valhalla Vineyards, (6500 Mt. Chestnut Road, Roanoke, VA 24018). This popular play has been produced in various forms and adapted by some of the leading theatre practitioners in Shakespearean performance history.
At both performances the show plus a catered meal will be available for $12 per person If you prefer admission to the show only is $5 and you may bring your own picnic dinner. Children under five years old are admitted free. Additionally beverages will be available for sale at Valhalla Vineyards. Both performances will begin at 7 PM and will be outdoors under a lovely night sky. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
