A deep abiding passion for songwriting has brought Gretchen Peters to the Grammys twice, won her a CMA Song Of The Year award for the groundbreaking song, “Independence Day” (Martina McBride), taken her on repeated sold-out tours across the UK and Europe, and seen the release of seven critically acclaimed albums. Born in New York, raised in Boulder, Colorado, and a Nashville resident since the late 80's, Peters has accumulated accolades as a songwriter for artists as wide-ranging as Etta James, Trisha Yearwood, Bonnie Raitt, The Neville Brothers, Patty Loveless, George Strait, Neil Diamond, Bryan Adams and Faith Hill.
As a recording artist, Peters just released her first “Best Of” collection, Circus Girl: The Best Of Gretchen Peters, in the UK and Europe. She most recently appeared on the US Americana charts with her new album, One To The Heart, One To The Head, a collaboration with singer-songwriter, Tom Russell
