Featuring Scythian, Liz Carroll and John Doyle, Iona, Tinsmith, Maggie Sansone, and others, the 2010 festival, will include continuous music and dance, workshops, storytellers, Highland Games athletic demonstrations, rugby games, our gathering of Scottish clans and societies, bagpipers, Celtic crafters and specialty import vendors, children’s activities and face painting, food and drink (including our pub tent and wine sold by the glass or bottle), and all of the family-fun that has become synonymous with the Potomac Celtic Festival!
Run completely by devoted volunteers, the Potomac Celtic Festival is more than just a cultural heritage festival; it’s a labor of love that brings together an entire community of craftspeople, vendors, historians, performers, and many others.
