July 4-6: Liberty Celebration, Yorktown Victory Center, Yorktown, Va. – Tactical drills, military exercises and role-playing demonstrations salute the anniversary of America’s independence. Visitors can see in museum galleries a rare broadside printing of the Declaration of Independence dating to July 1776. Admission is $9.75 for adults and $5.50 (ages 6-12). Children under 6 are free. A value-priced combination ticket is available with Jamestown Settlement, a museum of 17th-century Virginia. The Yorktown Victory Center, open 9 a.m.-6 p.m., is located on Route 1020 in Yorktown.
