Attention homeschool families: How does the Earth get its day and night cycle? Join us at the Virginia Living Museum as we explore this question and discover how the Earth’s rotation affects what we see in our sky.
This introduction to astronomy is recommended for kindergarten and 1st grade. The cost, $15 for children 3-12 and $18 for adults, includes admission to the museum. The museum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Class size is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. As earlier classes fill, more may be added. Each class will be 45 minutes, now scheduled for noon and 2 p.m. Each family group must register together; register at thevlm.org/events/museum-events/
