This annual holiday kick-off event boasts the most unique auction of item-filled, theme decorated, holiday trees and culminates with a joyous visit from Santa and endless holiday crafts and foods for the kiddies. The 28th Annual event will take place this year on November 19-20 at the Princess Anne Country Club, 3800 Pacific Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA, and includes the following events:
• Gala, Live & Silent Auctions of holiday trees and gifts, Friday, November 19, at 7 p.m. More than 30 trees and elaborate tree-gift packages will be auctioned at the gala, which will feature an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and live music by Rockstar Parking. Some of the packages are: a trip to vineyards in Napa Valley, a Cordon Bleu Trip to Paris, a 7day Carnival Cruise, and a host of Best Buy goodies. Auctioneer Billy Summs and Mary Kathryn (“Woo Woo”) Wood from 94.9 The Point will lead the event. Tickets are $80 per person. (Black Tie.)
• Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, November 20, at 10 a.m. Children can get a traditional photo with Santa, enjoy a full breakfast, partake in holiday crafts and activities sponsored by Busch Gardens Christmastown! Tickets are only $15 person.
