Exhibit Opening: Diplomats of Mercy

The exhibit acknowledges the exceptional courage of diplomats representing a variety of nations who acted selflessly to save Jewish lives during the dark years of the Holocaust.

The exhibit will also begin a broader theme for the 2010-2011 year which recognizes the “the Righteous Among the Nations," those who were willing to sacrifice everything for a greater purpose.

There will also be a cocktail party with Pierre Sauvage, an international filmmaker and child survivor of the Holocaust who will speak about ‘What We Can Learn From the Righteous.’
