This holiday season we invite you, your family and friends to tour a selection of Old Town's finest homes and visit downtown lofts and work spaces decorated for the holidays. The event will highlight downtown locations with a diversity of architectural details, holiday decorations, festive refreshments, and carolers. Tours start at the Virginia Quilt Museum where you can pick up your tickets, maps, and tour exhibits about our quilting heritage. The Old Town district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its late 19th- and early 20th-century architecture and history. Downtown lofts will include Sancar Flats and City Exchange, both housed in former industrial buildings. Businesses located in downtown Harrisonburg demonstrate modern uses for historic buildings. Tours start at the 19th-century Warren-Sipe House, currently housing the Virginia Quilt Museum. Carolers and holiday treats will add to the festive spirit of this event.
