Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation's 19th Annual Grand Tasting

Grand Tasting guests will have the opportunity to sample hundreds of the finest wines from around the world including Caymus, Silver Oak, Joseph Phelps, La Jota, Flowers, Atalon, Farrari-Carano, Franciscan, Jorge Ordonez, Trefethen Vineyards and wines from Grateful Palate, Broadbent Imports, Cape Classics and many more.

This year’s Grand Tasting will also feature the first-ever Wine Classic Chef Smackdown, hosted by Kevin Brauch of Iron Chef America. Six local chefs will compete for the title by creating specialty cuisine for a panel of elite food industry judges.

Restaurants participating in this year’s event include Bardo, Catch 31, Eurasia Café, Still Worldly Eclectic Tapas, Surf Club Ocean Grill, Terrapin, Riverstone Chop House, Zoë’s Restaurant, Salacia, Cobalt Grille, Vintage Tavern, The Blue Point, Sonoma Wine Bar & Bistro, Passion, The Lucky Oyster Seafood Grill, Just Cupcakes, Fresh Events by Farm Fresh Steinhilber’s, Mizuno and Todd Jurich’s Bistro as well as several other local favorites.
