Julia Blaukopf Recent Works
Julia is an artist and photographer telling the stories of her travels though her photography. Her pieces are a dreamy interpretation of city’s, landscapes, people, and the everyday. Her images are available on tile, fabric, glass, wallpaper and traditional paper for innovative businesses, homes and people. Julia is based in Philadelphia and New York. This exhibit will be in the Jane Sandelin Gallery.
Richard Becker Recent Works
Richard Becker attended State University of New York at New Paltz and has exhibited in many Richmond galleries.
He is a screen printer artist and painter will be exhibiting new works in the Centre Gallery, West.
SPRING by Donna Jacobi
Donna Jacobi is originally from Long Island and has lived in Richmond since 2002. She is inspired by nature and color. This year after the long, cold winter, she wanted to capture signs of spring. . Her exhibit will be in the Centre Gallery, East.
FOUNDPUNK by Keith M. Ramsey
Ramsey’s FOUNDPUNK series of has been inspired by the “Steampunk” style of art and culture. The work is a combination of his interest in art, mechanics and antiques. All artwork in the exhibit is not only artful but also useful and has been recycled into new functions. The exhibit will be presented in the Corner Gallery
EARTH DAY RECYCLE ART SHOW
This annual show is a focal point of RVA Earth Day at Art Works. It’s a juried show with cash prizes and is open to all artists. The artwork submitted must be made from recycled materials. At the RVA Earth Day Festival this show is part of a scavenger hunt. Festival-goers are given clues and are challenged to locate particular pieces of artwork from this exhibit and the FOUNDPUNK exhibit. All participants receive a “green” prize.
APRIL 2014 ALL MEDIA ART SHOW
This exhibit is a focal point of all Art Works’ openings. It is a juried show with cash prizes and is open to all artists and all mediums. Call for Entries is on April 19th and 21st. The juror is Lynn Murphy.
