Take a peek behind the scenes of the MacArthur Memorial as you learn from someone who can recount some of the most colorful moments in U.S. history during the 19th and 20th centuries. Col. Bill Davis who has served as the Memorial’s Director, will share insights with you from the Civil War though the Korean War. Your setting will be downtown Norfolk’s stately 19th-century City Hall, now used as the Museum to honor one of America’s most celebrated, yet controversial leaders, five-star General Douglas MacArthur. You will walk through the Visitor’s Center at the Memorial as well as the Research Center and main Memorial building.
