A Salute to the Tuskegee Airmen

Members of the Tuskegee Airmen will be available to discuss artifacts on display from noon to 3 p.m. See personal items and photos brought by the airmen. At 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. There will be a viewing of the HBO movie The Tuskegee Airmen in the museum theater. The Tuskegee Airmen will relate their experiences while serving in World War II, Korea and Vietnam in the museum theater from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. pointing out differences between Hollywood and reality. Join us for this rare opportunity to meet and speak with some of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen of World War II. Visit the museum galleries to see artifacts from 1775 to the present day.
