Art Works is hosting a very special art show and fundraiser to benefit a local Richmond City school’s art program. On August 23, 2013 the featured art show will be a retrospective on childhood entitled: "When I Was A Child – Toys and Playtime”. Tanja Softic, Professor of Art and Chair of the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Richmond will juror this all-media show. Artwork in this exhibit will be for sale and gallery proceeds go to providing art supplies for Blackwell Elementary School’s art program.
