East Beach is the site of the magazine's 25th showcase home and is hosting for the second time. The Atlantic coastal village is very well located - just a 10 minute drive from Norfolk International Airport, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Norfolk, the major employment centers and military bases. The community is right on the Chesapeake Bay where the Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. In just ten minutes, you can walk from the beach at the north end of the community to your boat at the deep water marinas at the south end.
