A basic and gratifying dry rub, perfect with a thick cut rib eye.
Dry rub ingredients, clockwise from top left: Ground black pepper, red pepper flakes, chopped rosemary, salt, sugar.
Rosemary Dry Rub for Steaks
1 cup kosher salt
¾ cup ground black pepper
½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
½ cup chopped rosemary
-mix all ingredients and store in air tight container
Rub liberally on any cut of steak, then pan roast or grill and enjoy!
Note: since there is sugar in the dry rub, the meat will caramelize sooner.
