Guest lecturer, Ed White, University of Virginia law graduate, and former State Assistant Attorney General joins us to enlighten us about Virginia's Northern Neck.
Virginia's Northern Neck is the birthplace of George Washington and Robert E Lee, home to Francis Lightfoot Lee and Richard Henry Lee, and the site of such icons of early colonial architecture as Mount Airy, and Stratford Hall. Ed White, resident of the Northern Neck, will share more about the intriguing area in his lecture "The Northern Neck - A Place Apart." He will highlight proposed historic sites that will be explored on the scheduled tour Thursday, March 26, to include but not limited to Menokin, St. John's Church, Sabine Hall, all in Warsaw, VA.
Mr. White will bring copies of his books which will be on display and for sale. The lecture is open to the public and admission is free. To learn more contact TVHS at (757) 259-9134 or visit our website at www.tv-hs.org or info@tvhs.com. Everyone is welcome.
