In June 1862, the Union Army was poised to capture Richmond. Tour Chickahominy Bluffs, Beaver Dam Creek, Gaines’s Mill, Glendale, Malvern Hill, and other sites associated with Gen. Robert E. Lee’s counterattack that drove the Federals back from the gates of the Confederate capital. All tours leave from Lee Hall Mansion. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
