The Summer School Program at TNCS offers students from area schools an opportunity to improve basic skills. Small class sizes provide direct and individualized attention. The atmosphere is a comfortable one where students are involved in interactive, multisensory, structures, yet fun activities.
Upper school courses focus on the acquisition of skills necessary to pursue college preparation in the areas of reading, vocabulary, study skills, mathematics, writing, and SAT preparation.
Brief diagnostic testing at the beginning and/or end of courses may be administered to provide teachers with the information they need to plan appropriate instruction and report on progress at the end of the course.
Courses offered:
Research Writing for College
Algebra Readiness
SAT Prep
Improving Reading Comprehension
Tuesday, June 18- Wednesday, July 17 (with July 4-5 as a holiday)
