Join Ken Conger, wildlife photographer and author of "Wildlife's Greatest Connection: A Mother and Her Young," at the College of William & Mary's Swem Library (400 Landrum Dr, Williamsburg, VA) on Friday, April 22 from 2:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m. to celebrate Earth Day. The event will be held in Swem Library's Ford Classroom on the ground floor with a book signing and reception to follow. Copies of Conger's book will be available for purchase at the event, which is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to RSVP at https://forms.wm.edu/25624 or by calling (757) 221-7872 by April 18.
Conger will present a collection of photos taken last year during his adventures to Kenya/Tanzania, Chile, Finland and Madagascar, as well as special places in America. This year Conger concentrated on capturing images of rare/endangered, special species on his "bucket list." The program provides a view of a nature photographer's world and the challenges taken in order to capture stunning wildlife images.
Parking passes are available for a small fee at Parking Services, 201 Ukrop Way.
