Guests meet Governor William Berkeley to hear an accounting of his time in Virginia and the unhappy circumstances that led to the rebellion during the program, “Governor Berkley Laments the Rebellion” at 10:30 am, 1 pm & 3 pm. During a special evening tour at 7 pm, "The Beginning, Progress and Conclusion of Bacon's Rebellion," guests are lead through the colonial town site and see the dramatic events unfold through the "eyewitness" account of Thomas Matthew, a Burgess in 1676.
