On Saturday, July 26, Verdun Adventure Bound, with the Fredericksburg Blues Society, invites you to the Verdun Anne Marie Sheridan Amphitheater to enjoy a day of BLUES. From 10am to noon, the public is invited to join the harmonica, guitar or drum skills workshops. While the music workshops are rocking from 10am to Noon, Verdun Adventure Bound will offer guests a tour of the facility via a fun hay ride. For the daring, guests are invited to try and conquer the Verdun Climbing Wall under the supervision of staff. Then from 1-7pm, enjoy blues music from The Dear John Blues Band, Gaye Adebalola and the Wild Rutz, Blue Buckets, and Jarekus Singleton. Come for the whole day or just for part either way you’re sure to enjoy a day of the BLUES.
Vendors will be on site with goods, food and drink available for purchase. Among our vendors will be Red Hot and Blue along with the Desert Rose Winery.
Tickets are available online at www.verdunadventurebound.org. and at the gate. Fredericksburg Blues Society members and military personnel tickets are $25 per person; all others are $30 per person. Guests are invited to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs. Alcohol or firearms are not permitted.
