Enjoy an evening of great folk-jazz sounds in the intimate Gregory Family Theater. Sit with your friends and family at café tables to take in an impressive musical fusion of Lea Morris’ “soul-folk” blend of gospel, jazz, country and R&B, Marshall Keys’ versatile saxophone style, and Paul Reisler’s songs and instrumentals.
With more than 3500 concerts and 50 albums to his name, world-class instrumentalist, Paul Reisler, has dedicated his musical career to sharing his song-writing talents with adults and children, alike. The founder and director of the Kid Pan Alley™ Children’s Songwriting Project, a program that works with children in the creative process of songwriting, Kid Pan Alley has now written more than 2500 songs with over 35,000 children nationally. The project has also released three CDs of the songs featuring world-class artists Sissy Spacek, Amy Grant, and the band Cracker, among other guest artists. “The group of artists Mr. Reisler brought together are each extraordinarily talented, and the program was a beautiful melding of their artistry…” Maestro Lorin and Dietlinde Maazel, NY Philharmonic, Castleton Festival
