Popular mystery author Beth Groundwater will present her workshop, Series Writing for the Organizationally Challenged at the upcoming Chesapeake Bay Writers dinner meeting on Wednesday, April 25 in Gloucester. The workshop will focus on keeping track of your characters’ histories, creating character arcs and maintaining a consistent tone.
Beth Groundwater is a Colorado-based author who writes the Claire Hanover Gift Basket Designer series and the Rocky Mountain Outdoor Adventures series. Groundwater has presented and served on panels at the Pikes Peak Writers Conference, the Colorado Gold Conference, Colorado Independent Publishers Association College, Bouchercon, Left Coast Crime, Malice Domestic and others.
Groundwater also served as a writing contest judge in both the short story and mystery/suspense novel categories for the Paul Gillette Writing Contest conducted by the Pikes Peak Writers, the Derringer Award for published mystery/suspense short stories (awarded by the Short Mystery Fiction Society), and has served as an editor/short stories judge for the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' Mistwillow anthology and their Colorado Gold writing contests.
