Ever wonder about the story behind that military artifact your relative left to you? Bring your military memorabilia, including firearms, edged weapons, insignia, uniforms, field gear, and medals from all eras & from around the world to the Virginia War Museum in Newport News on December 5 to find out!
Local military history experts from the Virginia War Museum Foundation & the Hampton Roads Militaria Society will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help identify your artifacts from the Revolutionary War to today's conflicts. Learn about your artifacts and how to best preserve them.
Firearms, weapons, and ordnance items brought to the Artifacts Roadshow will be checked and inspected for safety prior to review. Militaria dealers and vendors are prohibited.
This special event is included in normal admission to the museum which is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors & active duty military, and $5 for children ages 7-18. Virginia War Museum Foundation members and children under 7 are free.
