Celebrate art, seafood, and live entertainment at the 2016 Poquoson Seafood Festival with author and wildlife photographer, Ken Conger! Conger will be at the festival as part of it's arts show as he displays his photography and sells copies of his book, "Wildlife's Greatest Connection: A Mother and Her Young." His book will be available for purchase and signing all three days of the festival.
The Poquoson Seafood Festival, which began as a small celebration of the Poquoson waterfront community in its first inception, featured an art show at a local marina. Today, the Festival is a large annual event at Poquoson Municipal Park in the City of Poquoson. The festival draws nearly 50,000 people over the three day event and features both local and regional entertainment and a variety of food vendors featuring tasty delights highlighting seafood. Arts and Crafts vendors that are part of a juried arts and craft show also entice local shoppers.
The festival runs Friday, October 14, 5pm-10pm; Saturday, October 15, 10am-10pm; Sunday, October 16, 12:30-6:30pm.
Admission is free, and parking is $5!
