For The Art League’s first internationally juried exhibition “Tea,” 200 ceramic artists from all corners of the United States and Canada turned out to submit various wares associated with the ritual of drinking, serving, and presenting tea.

    A variety of techniques, glazes, and firing methods are represented amongst the selected pieces. Unique handmade teapots, cups, and other serving wares will be featured. Works range from traditional to modern in design.

    Blair Meerfeld, Art League Ceramics Department Chair, extended select invitations to 13 noted ceramic artists across the country. Their work will also be featured in the exhibit.

    Exhibit dates: May 3-June 3, 2012

    Reception: May 31, 6:00-8:00 pm

    Gallery Hours:

    Monday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

    Open Thursdays until 9:00 pm

    Sunday, 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm

    Exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
