Be Steadwell, also known as B.Steady (Washington, DC), explores the art of making fun pop music for queer people of color and other folks with silenced struggles. Located somewhere within the traditions of Sweet Honey in the Rock, The Clovers, Bobby McFerrin and BonIver, at her best B.Steady is a one man acapella band specializing in elaborate vocal layering and harmony. She released her first self-produced album on Itunes in January 2011, and posts an original live song weekly on her queerBgirl youtube video blog. - http://www.thelostbois.com/lb_b_steady.html and http://www.youtube.com/user/QueerBGirl
Eli Conley (Berkeley, CA) has a country choirboy voice and a singer/songwriter’s sincerity. He crafts songs that ride the rail between indie folk and alt-country from the raw material of his life as a gay transgender man with Richmond, VA roots. -http://www.eliconley.com/

Girls Rock! RVA is a newly formed organization in Richmond, Virginia. Our mission is to facilitate a space in Richmond that empowers girls to collaborate creatively in an environment of mutual respect and positive self-expression. To this effect, we created a free all-girls pop/rock/hip-hop/punk/etc summer music camp here in Richmond in 2011, and we look forward to continuing and growing this work for years to come! http://girlsrockcamprva.org/.
