FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? We will not be serving alcohol or providing adult entertainment. We would require you have ID available to claim a lost child if that were to happen, but that is the only instance we would need to see your ID for this event. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? There is a parking garage attached to the Center in the Square building. Parking is free on Sundays! What can/can't I bring to the event? Please do not bring food or drink into the Center in the Square building. There are many restaurants located around the Market in Downtown Roanoke for your enjoyment. Also, please do not bring alcohol, drugs or *weapons to this event - we kind of consider that a no brainer...but we have to say it anyway! :) *Costumed Guests: Air soft guns or display swords will be allowed, but must be peace bound (in the sheath) at all times or orange tips on guns showing. If they were made from foam and not wood or metal it would be even better and make us all happier. However, we will be doing a weapons check during registration and anything that we aren't comfortable with will be set aside for pickup after the Geek Mob is over. Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can email us at geekmobroanoke@gmail.com or contact is through our Facebook page "Geek Mob Roanoke" Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Tickets can be given to another person (accompanied by notification from you via email if this is for an online purchase), but Geek Mob only happens once a year so if you miss it, your tickets will not be good for the following year. Can I update my registration information? If you need to make any registration changes, please email us at geekmobroanoke@gmail.com Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes, at the event, we will take your printed ticket and exchange it for a wristband. Tickets visible on your phone or other communication device will be accepted as well if they are readable. However, printed vouchers are just preferred as they are quicker to keep the line moving. What is the refund policy? Refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Generally, we will say they are limited to extreme circumstances. The funds generated by Geek Mob will be used to pay the venue, fund Roanoke Doesn't Suck, LLC and remainder will be donated to charity. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? This must be accompanied by a written notice from the purchaser. This notice can be emailed to us at geekmobroanoke@gmail.com How can I become a vendor at Geek Mob? Please email us at geekmobroanoke@gmail.com
