On Mar. 12, from 12 to 1 p.m., Paul Ariola of Dale Carnegie Training Eastern Virginia will present “Don’t Let Difficult People Ruin Your Day” in the third Pink Bag Luncheon of the year, hosted by the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC).
Attendees will learn to recognize behaviors that disrupt team effectiveness, examine the dynamics of team dysfunction and commit to principles for maintaining the promise not to let difficult people ruin your day.
The luncheon is scheduled to begin at noon, and includes 10 minutes of business networking, where members are encouraged to make business connections and distribute business cards.
Lunch will be provided by one of VPCC’s 2015 Catering Sponsors.
The cost of the event is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
Members attending are encouraged to also bring business handouts, giveaways and goodie bags to display on a table in the front lobby of the VPCC. Attendees can pick up any information at their convenience.

Ariola has served ten years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsmen; Psychiatric Technician. While in this role he facilitated over 5,000 hours of training on such subjects as: anger management, stress management, life skills and group therapy.
As a Certified Dale Carnegie Trainer Paul has conducted more than 2,000 hours of training in such specific areas as: Effective Communications, Human Relations, Presentations, Leadership, Employee Engagement, Customer Service and Networking and has conducted several one-on-one Executive Coaching Sessions.
