There’s possibly no one more qualified to pay tribute to two legendary crooners than this consummate entertainer. After all, she grew up watching them perform in her living room. Entertainer, actor, recording artist, radio personality, and author Deana Martin has enjoyed a long, rich career since her first performance in 1966 on her father’s television program, The Dean Martin Show. Now, she comes to the Hylton Center paying homage to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, two iconic American singers whom she knew as “Dad” and “Uncle Frank.” In this incredible concert, Ms. Martin interprets their popular favorites such as “The Lady is a Tramp,” “Volare,” “Strangers in the Night,” and “That’s Amore,” while sharing some little known stories about these two celebrated members of the Rat Pack. Dean Martin once sang, “Memories are Made of This” — he may well have been singing about this unforgettable night of music.
