Since its inception more than a century ago, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra has maintained an outstanding international reputation on par with many of Europe’s most prominent orchestras. The ensemble, which performed one of its first concerts under the baton of Dvořák, presents a program of beloved Eastern European works led by conductor Jiří Bělohlávek. Regarded as one of the world’s best pianists, Jean-Yves Thibaudet showcases his musical sensibilities and dazzling technical ability and musicality to the Center in a performance of Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
