Pack your blankets, drive to the Workhouse and prepare for an unforgettable night of entertainment!
All films begin at 8:30pm, with doors opening at 7:30pm for Family Fun Hour, featuring music, games, trivia contests and other surprises! Snacks, drinks and pizza will be available for purchase beginning at 7:30pm.
Information about the film:
From the best-selling novel by Peter Benchley, Steven Spielberg directed this thrill ride of terror. During the height of beach season, the Massachusetts resort town of Amity Island is terrorized one summer by surprise attacks from a great white shark. Three unlikely partners team up to hunt down the rogue and destroy it: the new chief of police from New York (Roy Scheider), a young university-educated oceanographer (Richard Dreyfuss), and a crusty old-time fisherman (Robert Shaw).
Special Note: This is an outdoor event, under a large tent; please check the Workhouse website for inclement weather updates. In light rain, the event will go on as scheduled; in the event of heavy rain or storms, pre-purchased tickets will be honored at other screening dates or refunded. When possible, cancelled films will be rescheduled for future dates this summer. Please contact the Workhouse Arts Center at 703-584-2900 for further questions or clarifications of this policy. Doors open for food and drink at 7:30pm. Unless listed otherwise in the event description, all shows are suitable for general audiences.
