To highlight and celebrate the importance of literacy in early childhood education, the Children’s Museum of Richmond will present special reading-based activities and appearances by beloved children’s book characters. “Now run along and play, but don’t get into trouble!” The Man in the Yellow Hat didn’t know what he was getting into after brining Curious George home when it was originally published in 1941. Thankfully, the little brown monkey was always getting into trouble and has since traveled into the homes and hearts of families around the world. The New Adventures of Curious George appeared in 1998 and are still being published today!
