Bailey’s in Newport News is teaming up with the Peninsula Sports Club Foundation to provide scholarships to high school student athletes. Due to inclement weather, Bailey’s, located at 12300 Jefferson Avenue, has rescheduled their celebration to benefit the Peninsula Sports Club Foundation from Thursday, February 26, 2015 to Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
The party will be held from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., where guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary sampling of Bailey’s signature dishes, including Greek Hummus, Drunken Chicken Tenders, Tavern Wings, Napa Spinach Salad and Black Forest Sliders! Featured signature cocktails include Irish ‘Rita, Twisted Bitter, Strawberry Blonde and more for $4 each; draft beer will be available for $2 each.
Bailey’s will donate 10% of sales for the entire day and night of Wednesday, March 25 to the Peninsula Sports Club Foundation, which identifies and awards annually Peninsula high school student athletes with scholarships to further their educational experience; and to date over $150,000 in scholarship monies have been awarded to deserving local students.
