Oysters and chowder and shrimp, oh boy! It’s the Virginia Living Museum’s second annual Oyster Roast. Tickets include all-you-can eat raw and roasted oysters, clam chowder, seafood, Brunswick stew, dessert, soft drinks and coffee, plus two drink tickets for beer, wine and hard cider. Food by Waypoint Restaurant and Mathews Lions Club. Music by Colonial DJs, plus contests and raffles. The event is presented by TowneBank and sponsored by Waypoint Restaurant, Phillips Energy, Mathews Lions Club, Dominion, Virginia Health Services, The Point and 101.3. Proceeds benefit the Virginia Living Museum. Tickets $40 in advance, $45 at the door.
