Author and photographer Ken Conger will be at the Sugarloaf Festival in Chantilly, Virginia between Friday, December 11th, and Sunday, December 13th. Lovers of fine crafts and art will find more than 300 top artisans displaying and selling their unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture and home accessories, items for the garden, and photography. Conger will feature his photography which includes his new book, "Wildlife's Greatest Connection: A Mother and Her Young," a compilation of stunning images celebrating the diversity of the special bond that forms between mothers and their young across the animal kingdom.This collection, which features more than 100 high-quality, full-color photos, will take you from the jungles of Indonesia to the coasts of Patagonia, from the plains of the Maasai Mara to Conger's own "backyard" of Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.
The festival will run on both Friday and Saturday between 10:00am and 6:00pm and on Sunday between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and free for children under 12. Parking is free and the event will be held indoors.
