This event will feature performances of Philip Glass’ music by principal artists in Virginia Opera’s Orphée. Baritone Matthew Worth, soprano Sara Jakubiak, tenor Jeffrey Lentz, soprano Heather Buck, and tenor Jonathan Blalock will sing and Virginia Opera Resident Conductor, Adam Turner will accompany on piano. Following these performances there will be a conversation with Maestro Glass about his music, a special performance by the composer, and a reception, giving attendees an opportunity to meet Mr. Glass and the other artists. This event is open to the public.
