Enjoy a scenic drive to New Castle for the 33rd Annual Craig County Fall Festival. Streets of this quaint county seat will be jam-packed with craft and food vendors, along with educational displays. The O. Marshall Reynolds Memorial Antique Car Show will fill Middle Street. Shops on Main Street will be open, with many locally-made crafts and handiwork.
Other features: country breakfast and lunch in Old Brick Hotel, music by numerous local musicians, horse rides, children's activities. A blacksmith and a local potter will demonstrate their crafts near the Hotel.
Much activity will center around the restored Old Brick Hotel, built in the 1840's. The Hotel and 2 log cabins contain historical items from local families. The Hotel, cabins, Genealogy Library and the hotel gift shop will be open all day. The Fall Festival is sponsored by the Craig County Historical Society, with proceeds used for maintenance of the hotel and cabins and for the preservation of local history.
