He opened his first dental practice in 1970 and began painting 10 years later. Over the last 30 years, Baxter has painted nearly 15,000 watercolors, but he hasn't sold a single painting. Instead he's donated all his work to charity. 30 Years of Giving Back: A Retrospective by Dr. W. Baxter Perkinson Jr. is the first time pieces from his entire painting career will be on public display. The show will also include sculpture pieces by Baxter’s biggest fan, his wife Elaine Perkinson.
