A production of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” will anchor the fourth season of the Blue Ridge Summer Theatre Festival, produced by Endstation Theatre Company—Sweet Briar College’s summer resident theater troupe—beginning in June.

The Bard’s tale of canards and confusion will be performed en plein air at Sweet Briar’s old train station as part of the festival, which will also include performances of an original children’s play by Endstation’s resident playwright, Josh Mikel, “Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island,” and the company’s first try at a musical, Stephen Sondheim’s “Assassins.”

The fledgling company brings 20-30 artists each summer to the bucolic campus. The audience gets to sit among the actors, so be prepared. Hark, Malvolio is near.
