  Bravo! I was shabby before Shabby Chic or maybe I was chic. All of our furniture came from Good Will when I was first married.

  I like the shabby chic style as it seems like a style that can be very personal and allow for a lot of creativity. In our home we lean a little more on the shabby and less on the chic but it's a work in progress!

  The one room we have decorated in this mode is our photographer daughter's bedroom. She needs a quiet oasis and the relaxed feel of peeling paint and soft colors suits her needs. Thanks for pointing out the decorating links. I will check definitely check into them!
