  Ineresting to read your comments. Knock Out Roses, coreopsis and liatris don't last a week near my 5 walnut trees, but hopefully everyone knows that rugosa roses thrive near walnut trees. On the other hand I have 7 varieties of yarrow and two butterfly bushes which are also thriving. It really is a matter of "try and see" and if they start to fade, wash off the roots and move FAST!
