Well - looks like the two flyers I evicted from my soffit today are in for a cold, rainy night. They are active at night but description seems for like southern squirrel. Neatest thing I've ever seen (once I figured out what they were...) was to watch them leap off my chimney and sail over to a nearby oak - which is also tall enough for a return trip to inspect their now closed front door.
Does anyone have experience building a nest box for these guys? I can't have them damaging the house but would love to have them reside nearby.
